The Markets pillar helps on-campus entrepreneurs to become visible to new customers while actively pursuing new sales opportunities. This involves two separate, but related segments: market visibility and market access. At present, the full range of Markets offerings is focused on on-campus entrepreneurs, however, Riversands Alliance members are included in a number of Markets initiatives.
Entrepreneurs on campus benefit from increased visibility to the attendees of the many conferences and event held at Riversands. At the same time, there are a range of other ways that we work with entrepreneurs to boost market visibility to potential customers.
We host our electronic entrepreneur gallery on our website, offer physical copies to guests and conference delegates, and have a PDF form that is sent to our corporate partners on request. Our marketing and PR team assist business owners to formulate their message.
Atrium display space
We are growing our range of digital and physical showcase platforms in the Riversands’ atrium area. This area of the campus enjoys a high level of visibility to visitors and conference delegates.
Riversands actively collaborates with industry partners to bring relevant sector showcases and expos to the campus. This allows entrepreneurs in different sectors to gain exposure to relevant industry experts and potential buyers.
A public relations team proactively pursues media opportunities for Riversands entrepreneurs including print, online, radio, television and social media.
We offer complimentary door signage options for on-campus entrepreneurs.
The Riversands Incubation Hub team actively promotes the on-campus businesses to its extensive corporate network and other potential buyers. This involves setting up and being present at sales meetings.
We host targeted discussions with key players in various industries to expose entrepreneurs to what these prospective customers are looking for and what informs their purchase decisions.
