Johannesburg, 7 June 2017 – Brendmo Incorporated is a dynamic and 100% woman-owned firm offering high quality consulting services in finance, accounting, audit, tax as well as training services to individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises. The company was founded in 2014 by Brenda Hurudza (CA) SA and Mollen Mukuze (CA) SA and has established itself as a dominant player in its field.
With the zeal and anticipation for growth, the directors for Brendmo Incorporated – together with Simnikiwe Bolo (also a CA) – started another company in 2016, Brendmo Advisory services. The aim was to provide financial advisory services and to separate the audit function to be solely performed by Brendmo Incorporated.
Some of the aspects that set Brendmo Incorporated apart is the wealth of experience the company’s directors possess and their commitment to adhering to industry standards. Combined, the company’s SAICA and IRBA – the professional body that regulates Chartered Accountants as well as registered auditors respectively. The directors have over eight years’ experience in the accounting and auditing field.
“The retention of our existing clients speaks volumes”
Aside from the experience, Hurudza says they focus on understanding their clients’ needs and delivering quality business solutions that build long-lasting relationships and to that end, they call themselves “accountability partners”. “We value the relationships we develop with our clients and strive to make them grow from strength to strength, as we provide quality and cost-effective services covering all aspects of the operations of their businesses. Our clients value the personalised services we offer and greatly appreciate the value we add to their businesses,” she says. Some of Brendmo Incorporated’s achievements include alleviating the unemployment amongst youth graduates by hiring three additional staff members. “The retention of our existing clients speaks volumes,” Hurudza adds.
Hurudza says they started the business because they wanted the freedom to own their time whilst making a significant impact on small businesses. She added that being an entrepreneur is in itself a growth enabler on a personal level. “Boldness, courage, confidence, and intellect played significant roles in the growth of the two entities,” she says.
As a way of giving back to society, Brendmo Incorporated offers accounting tutorials to learners from Grade 10 up to university students. In addition, Brendmo Incorporated is working hand in hand with Top Matrics, a Non-Profit Organisation whose main objective is to motivate learners through giving academic excellence awards. “A motivated learner accomplishes much for him or herself,” says Hurudza.
While the company has made great strides, Hurudza says the team at Brendmo Incorporated is constantly pushing itself to achieve more growth and to realise the vision of being the preferred business partner, providing highly skilled and comprehensive business solutions that enable clients to reach greater heights. In 2016, Brendmo Incorporated relocated to Riversands Incubation Hub – a business incubator that provides and facilitates access to a rich range of entrepreneur development and business growth support services that talented, committed entrepreneurs can access to help them create and grow their businesses. Hurudza hopes the move will increase the visibility of Brendmo Incorporated and take the business to greater heights.
