COVID-19 Statement

As Riversands Incubation Hub, the continued growth of small businesses in South Africa is what we strive to achieve every day. Yet, with unprecedented circumstances such as the COVID-19 pandemic, it now requires us all to look at the world from a different perspective. We support the President’s call and the efforts of government, business and civil society to defeat this disease, and our priority remains the health and safety of our tenants, colleagues and contractors.

As a result of the State of Emergency announced by the President, effective 15h00 on Thursday 26 March 2020, Riversands Incubation Hub will be closed to the public and all entrepreneurs and their teams for a period of 21 days. The management offices will also be closed for the 21-day period.

Although the management offices will be closed, plans have been put in place to continue assisting our entrepreneurs to navigate and overcome this extremely difficult period. Riversands Incubation Hub staff will continue teleworking, answering calls and voicemails, emails and online requests from entrepreneurs. All meetings will be held virtually.

If we all make a conscious decision to face this adversity with patience, mutual respect, honesty, and positivity we will get through this and come out of it stronger and better prepared for the future.

We wish all our stakeholders strength and courage.
