Preserving Memories is the vision of this framing company

It’s not often that a framing company has the bold vision of preserving its customers’ memories but when entrepreneur Kagiso Tshikare started Kaone Décor Framing and Paintings, he was determined to set himself apart from the crowd.

“It’s wonderful to carry a high-end camera around in one’s cell phone to capture memories and having the photographs printed then framed turns them into décor items for the home or office,” commented Tshikare.

The team at Koane Décor Framing and Paintings is well-versed in the company’s vision. Chatting to client liaison Boitemelo Mothupi is refreshing! She explains that the company’s next target is government and other public buildings. “We know that pictures in custom-built frames enhance a space. Joyful pictures make rooms more appealing and we’ve noticed that this is often a neglected area when it comes to office space,” she said.

The high standard of work produced by Koane Décor Framing and Paintings has meant that word of mouth marketing has done wonders for the business. “Our customers always refer us to their friends and we’ve also heard from customers whose friends have insisted on knowing who produced the frames on their walls,” said Tshikare.

Each frame is custom-designed for the individual client and Tshikare recently extended his team to include Leo Ndlovu and Thabo Molapo to help him make the frames from scratch.

“We specialise in preserving treasured memories because a certificates, photos or paintings are far less likely to become damaged if they’re placed in a beautiful frame,” concluded Tshikare.
