The Riversands Incubation Hub team has expanded! Three new Service Co-ordinators (SCs) have joined since the beginning of the year, making up a full complement of people dedicated to providing seamless access to the business support service offerings.
As CEO Jenny Retief pointed out in a recent LinkedIn post, it’s important to make it really easy for your customers to deal with you.
“We created these new posts to make us even more accessible and reduce the amount of energy it takes for our customers (the +160 entrepreneurs on the campus) to work with us.”
Lucrecia Dawson has impressed the team with her open attitude and ready smile. She has a number of years’ experience with other business development service providers and brings strong interpersonal skills to the role. Onesisa Mtwa is completing her Masters in Public Policy through UCT and is on a mission to ensure that all the SMEs in her portfolio do the best they possibly can! Rowan Mould is putting his academic entrepreneurship qualifications to good use together with his sales experience in working with SMEs. He is also working on a Masters in the field. With her outgoing personality, Reshma Sewraj is the first to know about any developments in her SMEs’ businesses; she draws on a valuable combination of corporate experience and an entrepreneurial background. Rising star Lorraine Mphaha has come up through the Riversands Incubation Hub ranks and approaches her job with grace, enthusiasm and energy.
Software tools such as our cloud-based support delivery and impact management system, Lynx, as well as Names & Faces – a cool visual directory with details of all team members as well as business owners and their SCs – have enabled seamless service delivery and monitoring. Not to mention the fact that the combination of SCs and smart technology is proving to be a game-changer in the Riversands Incubation Hub’s quest to grow the local economy!
